Location: Remote - Texas only.

Eligibility: Toys for Texans is fully remote and hires from all Texas cities. At this time, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in the United States. Applicants must be age 14 - 22.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of the organization's online presence. Your role involves crafting engaging content, fostering meaningful connections with the audience, and driving brand awareness and growth across social media platforms.

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Social Media Manager plays a pivotal role in the marketing department, responsible for creating and implementing social media strategies that align with the organization's goals. By leveraging various platforms, you will amplify the organization's message, engage with the community, and contribute to the overall marketing success.

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR . . . 

 
  • Developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to reach target audiences and achieve marketing objectives.

  • Creating compelling content, including visuals, videos, and written posts, that resonates with the audience and reflects the brand's identity.

  • Managing social media accounts, posting regularly, and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.

  • Monitoring social media analytics and using data-driven insights to optimize content and improve engagement.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote events, initiatives, and campaigns effectively.

YOU MUST HAVE . . . 

 
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation across various platforms.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills to deliver captivating and on-brand messaging.

  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  • A deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to adapt content for different audiences and platforms.

IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

 
  • Experience in the non-profit or cause-driven sector, using social media to promote charitable initiatives.

  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools to create visually compelling content.

  • Familiarity with SEO principles to optimize social media posts for increased visibility.
