Eligibility: Toys for Texans is fully remote and hires from all Texas cities. At this time, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in the United States. Applicants must be age 14 - 22.

As the Grant Writer, you will play a pivotal role in the fundraising department by researching and writing grant proposals. Your expertise in crafting compelling grant applications will be instrumental in securing crucial funding for the organization's programs and initiatives.
JOB SUMMARY
The Grant Writer is a key member of the fundraising team, responsible for identifying grant opportunities and preparing persuasive proposals. Your efforts directly contribute to the organization's financial sustainability, enabling it to carry out its mission and make a positive impact on the community.
YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR . . .

Conducting thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from various foundations, government agencies, and other funding sources.

Collaborating with program managers and other stakeholders to gather relevant information for grant proposals.

Writing clear, concise, and compelling grant applications that align with the requirements of each funding opportunity.

Ensuring all grant proposals are submitted within deadlines and in accordance with guidelines.

Maintaining accurate records of grant applications, outcomes, and reporting requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE . . .

Proven experience in grant writing and a track record of successful grant acquisitions.

Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives and compelling arguments.

Strong research abilities to identify relevant grant opportunities and funding sources.

Knowledge of grant application processes, including guidelines and reporting requirements.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple grant applications simultaneously.
