Main areas of focus: Planning and executing distribution events, coordinating logistics, and managing volunteer teams.

Location: Remote - Texas only.

Eligibility: Toys for Texans is fully in-person and hires from all Texas cities. At this time, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in the United States. Applicants must be age 14 - 22. 

 

JOB HIGHLIGHT

 

As the Distribution Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing and overseeing distribution events. Your responsibilities include coordinating logistics, ensuring smooth operations, and leading volunteer teams to make a positive impact in the community.

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Distribution Coordinator is a key member of the events department, responsible for the successful planning and execution of distribution events. By efficiently managing resources, logistics, and volunteers, you contribute to the organization's mission of serving the community and ensuring the seamless delivery of essential resources.

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR . . . 

 
  • Researching and planning distribution events, including locations, resources, and requirements.

  • Contacting and collaborating with partner organizations and venues for event partnerships.

  • Coordinating logistics, such as transportation, setup, and breakdown of distribution sites.

  • Leading and managing volunteer teams during distribution events to ensure effective operations.

  • Collecting and analyzing data on event impact and effectiveness for reporting purposes.

YOU MUST HAVE . . . 

 
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to coordinate distribution events effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with partners and volunteers.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks during events.

  • Problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise during distribution events.

  • A commitment to serving the community and ensuring the success of distribution initiatives.

IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

 
  • Experience in event planning or logistics management.

  • Familiarity with the non-profit or community-based sector.

  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis for impact reporting.
